RECONCILE Projects and Programmes
Land Rights Programme
The overall objective of this programme is to generate and share knowledge and develop the capacity of rural populations to engage in an effective way with policies, laws and institutions as well as processes that have a bearing on access to land and the security of land rights.
The following projects are currently being implemented under this programme:
- Formalization and Land-based Livelihoods in Eastern Africa
- Customary Land Tenure in Kenya’s Draft National Land Policy
- Collaborative study on Pastoral Land Rights in Kotido
- Clarifying customary land law in Eastern and Southern Africa
